Confirmation (8th Grade or Older)
The goal of confirmation is to have each youth commit to a real and personal faith, cherish the rich heritage we have as United Methodists, and build relationships with those who will support them in their faith. We are solidifying what parents, families, church and God have done before. Classes begin in January and run through April on Sunday aftermoon from 4:00-5:00 PM or schedule a make up session.
Sunday School (Grades 6-12, Year Round) Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m., scripture is made more accessible to youth in an interactive and relevant way with curriculum that is timely and relevant to their lives. Communion is served the first Sunday of each month. The group meets in the Sanctuary for worship on the second Sunday of each month and in the Family Life Center the other Sundays.
Youth Praise Band Our musically inclined youth have formed their own Praise Band to perform at youth Sunday School as well as some of our Worship Services. They practice in the Family Life Center on Sunday morning 11:15-11:45 AM.
Sunday Youth Groups (Grades 6-12, During the School Year)
Middle Youth Fellowship (MYF) and Senior Youth Fellowship (SYF) activities are centered around the idea of living the faith by having fun, eating, hanging out and building relationships with one another. Both groups meet in the Family Life Center. A lite supper is served and meets on Sundays from 5:00-6:30 PM.
Wednesday Night Activities  (Grades 6-12, During the School Year)
Youth Café
Come join us for some refreshments at the St. Andy’s Café. The café is open from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday evenings in the Youth Room on the Lower Level. The kids enjoy games, fellowship and some great food before Bible Study.

Youth Bible Studies Adult volunteers lead the studies using a movie, music video or other means to spark conversations about faith, God and each other. Bible study takes place from 7 to 8 p.m. with 6th through 8th grades meeting in the Family Life Center and senior high meeting in the Youth Room.
Youth Choir and Intergenerational ChoirGrow in faith, serve God, connect with one another and with those we serve and share your musical gifts. This group traditionally practices from 6:15-6:45 p.m. in the Lower Level Music Rehearsal Room during the fall and winter, unless they need to practice with the adult choir. At Christmas and other times of the year, the youth join our adults to perform as an intergenerational choir. For more details, contact:

Youth Mission Trips Each year, the senior-high youth, grades 9 through 12, have the opportunity to be a part of a week-long mission trip outside of our home community through a program called YouthWorks! Our 8th Grade Confirmation students can take part in a local weekend-mission trip called the “Omaha Urban Plunge.” Grades 6 and 7 focus on local day-mission work.
Share Your Talents Youth are invited to serve by participating in our Worship Services too. You can share your musical talent, your friendly smile, your oratory skills or your technical prowess. Visit our Hospitality and Worship Ministries pages to see all the ways you can get involved. We need you!
