Do you have a winning smile and a friendly handshake? You’re qualified. We want you to welcome people at the entrances before Worship Services on Saturday evening or Sunday mornings, and other special occasions. It’s your job to help create a warm, welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.
Sunday mornings are great! Not only do we have a great worship service, but we offer donuts and coffee between services. If you'd like to help make coffee, keep donut area clean, or can help clean up coffee- we have a job for you!
This is actually a lot friendlier than it sounds. We give first-time visitors mugs at the end of each service. You’ll also spend time between and after services answering questions and pointing people to information about the United Methodist Church, St. Andrew’s, ministry opportunities, activities and events. You may need to give directions to areas around the church as well. The only requirement is a friendly, welcoming attitude. To volunteer, contact:
Charlene Smith smith195@cox.net We’re looking for a few good men and woman to provide feedback, support and leadership for all areas of Radical Hospitality, including Ushers, Greeters, Muggers, Hospitality Hosts and the Welcome Table. These captains will help coordinate their area. Team meetings are held the third Tuesday every other month.
This loving task asks that you help make sure that the wedding goes off without a hitch. It’s your job to make sure that the bride and groom, pastors and church staff all know what’s expected of them. Weddings are assigned as they are available. For more information, contact:
