At St. Andrew’s, when we say “All Are Welcome” – we mean it! St. Andrew’s is a place where everyone is valued and respected, and we strive to foster an environment where you can freely express your faith and find the support and acceptance you deserve, just as you are.
We acknowledge that the land St. Andrew’s sits on is the traditional land of the Umoⁿhoⁿ (Omaha) and Očhéthi Šakówiŋ People. We acknowledge the painful history of genocide and forced removal from this territory, and we honor and respect the many diverse Indigenous peoples still connected to this land on which we gather.
We are committed to ensuring accessibility for all members and visitors:
At St. Andrew's we are a vibrant intergenerational community where individuals of all ages come together, not only to worship but to grow, share, and learn from one another. Our small groups are dedicated to embracing the richness of diverse age groups, creating a space where generations can connect and form meaningful relationships. We believe in the power of collective wisdom, nurturing a community that values the unique perspectives and experiences each generation brings, ultimately enriching our spiritual journey and strengthening the bonds that make our church a true family.
We are an LGBTQ+ affirming community, committed to fostering a loving and inclusive environment for all:
We are committed to destigmatizing mental health and providing a compassionate and supportive space for our community. We recognize that mental wellness is a vital aspect of overall well-being, and we offer a range of support groups and classes dedicated to both maintaining mental health and aiding loved ones in their struggles. We believe that open dialogue and understanding are essential, and when paired with medical and professional assistance, the church plays a crucial role as a support system for those facing mental health challenges. Your well-being matters, and we are here to offer care, compassion, and a sense of belonging to our community
St. Andrew's extends a warm and open-hearted welcome to all individuals, whatever their background, beliefs, or circumstances. We embrace those who may not traditionally feel welcome in a church environment, including but not limited to LGBTQ+ individuals, people of all gender identities, diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, those with differing physical or cognitive abilities, individuals with varying socio-economic statuses, and anyone who may have felt marginalized in the past. At our church, you are cherished and valued just as you are, and we celebrate the diversity that makes our community strong and inclusive.
