In the Bible, a lion is never just a lion, and a sheep is never just a sheep. From rock badgers and ravens to frogs, fish, and even leviathans, the biblical world is alive with creatures who help tell the story of God.
As spring returns and God’s creation wakes up around us, this series will explore the strange, beautiful, and sometimes surprising animals of scripture. Along the way, we’ll discover what these creatures reveal about God, about ourselves, and about our calling to live wisely and faithfully within God’s good creation.
