What is growing in us? What kind of life is our faith producing?
In Fruits of Faithfulness, we will explore Paul’s words in Galatians 5 about the fruit of the Spirit and the kind of life God is growing in us through grace. Rather than treating love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control as a checklist of virtues to master, this series asks what it looks like to become people increasingly rooted in Christ and shaped by the Spirit.
Together, we’ll reflect on the habits, fears, and assumptions that keep good fruit from growing, and on the practices that help us remain open to God’s transforming work. As we grow in faithfulness, we discover that the life of Christ does not remain hidden within us. It begins to bear fruit in the way we love, serve, forgive, endure, and care for one another.
